Daniel Ruizcalderon is an associate at the Firm’s Miami office. Mr. Ruizcalderon received a Bachelor of Science at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, which he attended on a merit scholarship. While at Florida State University, Mr. Ruizcalderon majored in Political Science and International Affairs. He went on to spend a year at a Miami-based firm specialized in international arbitration prior to attending law school. Mr. Ruizcalderon then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Latin American Law Students’ Association and went on to serve on its board of directors as Diversity Chair.
While in law school, Mr. Ruizcalderon was a legal intern for a Boston firm specializing in commercial litigation and defense in consumer protection actions. Mr. Ruizcalderon also served as a legal intern within a Boston-based non-profit organization which provided free legal services in the areas of patient’s and infant’s rights. Prior to joining Lydecker|Diaz, Mr. Ruizcalderon worked as an associate at a boutique law firm in Gainesville, Florida primarily focused in the areas of civil litigation, real estate litigation, probate and bankruptcy.
