Omar J. Perez is a South Florida native and an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Perez primarily practices first-party property defense litigation, with an emphasis in bad faith litigation, water damage claims, fraud investigation, and windstorm coverage issues. While attending law school, Mr. Perez served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Sandra Perlman in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Mr. Perez received his undergraduate degree from Florida International University, where he majored in Political Science. Mr. Perez obtained his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, Mr. Perez received Dean’s List honors and was an advocate for the Moot Court Honor Society and Nova Trial Association. Mr. Perez also served as the Managing Editor for the Nova Law Review, Volume 43.
