Veronica Pakit joined Lydecker Diaz’s New Jersey office as an Associate in September of 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Veronica clerked for the Honorable J. Randall Corman in the Special Civil Part for Middlesex County, New Jersey. In this capacity she drafted opinions and bench memoranda for Law, Small Claims, and Landlord Tenant cases, in addition to mediating cases. During law school, Ms. Pakit was elected as the student leader for the Child Support Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Pro Bono Project, where she actively participated as legal counsel under the supervision of licensed family law attorneys. Additionally, Ms. Pakit was the elected representative for the Evening Student Association, and worked for a semester as a part time law clerk at a major New Jersey personal injury plaintiff’s firm. Ms. Pakit earned her way through law school as a police dispatcher and emergency medical technician for over a decade, gaining valuable medical and investigative skills which she utilizes for her municipal and personal injury clients. She is pending admission to the bar of the State of New York.
