Stephanie M. Martin is a South Florida native and an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Ms. Martin primarily practices premises liability, government liability, and general civil litigation matters.
Ms. Martin received her undergraduate degree on an academic scholarship from the University of Miami, where she double majored in Marketing and Business law and minored in Journalism. During the last year of her university studies, Ms. Martin served as an intern for a solo practitioner in Miami, Florida. This solidified Ms. Martin’s dream of one day attending law school.
Thereafter, Ms. Martin attended Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law on an academic scholarship. During law school, Ms. Martin received Dean’s List Honors, the CALI Book Award in Contracts, was an advocate for the Nova Trial Association, and served on the executive board for Nova Law Review as Articles Editor for Volume 43. In 2018, Ms. Martin graduated at the top percentile of her class, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree with cum laude honors. Prior to joining Lydecker Diaz in 2020, Ms. Martin practiced at a nationwide defense firm where she gained practical experience in premises liability, toxic tort litigation, government liability, civil rights litigation, and Section 1983 claims.
Ms. Martin was admitted to practice in the state of Florida in 2018 and is an active member of the Young Lawyers division and the Dade County Bar Association. Ms. Martin is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
