Ian Corp is an attorney concentrating his practice in personal injury, professional liability, labor, and employment—both in state and federal court. He routinely represents private companies in litigation matters throughout the tri-county area in South Florida.
Before joining Lydecker Diaz, Ian was an attorney at a statewide insurance defense firm where he served as counsel for several Fortune 500 companies. He gained considerable litigation experience representing them throughout the State of Florida—even serving as second chair in multiple bench trials.
Ian is also actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association (“CABA”), Hispanic National Bar Association (“HNBA”), Leadership Miami, The Peter T. Fay Inn of Court, and the St. Thomas University School of Law, Young Alumni Council. For CABA, Ian serves on the Young Lawyers Committee and the Pro Bono Project Committee. For Leadership Miami, Ian is a graduate of the 40th anniversary class, and serves as a member of the Alumni Planning Committee.
For HNBA, Ian serves as a member of the board for the Young Lawyers Division as part of HNBA’s Region VIII—Florida. For The Peter T. Fay Inn of Court, Ian was instrumental in creating a mentorship program between judges, attorneys, and law students to serve to foster new relationships and improve the professionalism skills of the Inn’s members. And for St. Thomas University School of Law, the Young Alumni Council serves to provide guidance to the University in areas of bar exam passage, academic curriculum development, professional development, fundraising, and mentorship.
