Professional Experience

David Chang is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Chang concentrates his practice in first party property defense litigation, with an emphasis in bad faith litigation, fraud investigation, water damage claims, and windstorm coverage issues. Prior to joining Lydecker Diaz, Mr. Chang gained experience working for a Florida-wide Defense firm in the areas of PIP and first party property litigation.

Mr. Chang received his Master’s of Medical Science and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida. While in law school, Mr. Chang served as an intern for Health Affairs Legal practice at the UF Office of the V.P. & General Counsel. Through his internship, he drafted contracts as a member of UF Health’s contract unit for the Gainesville and Jacksonville Health Science Centers and affiliated entities. Mr. Chang also interned for UF Health Shands Legal Services where he assisted in the revision of the core policies and procedures at UF Health Shands Hospital.
