Professional Experience
Joan Carlos Wizel’s practice involves all aspects of federal and state civil trial litigation and appellate practice, with a primary focus on complex business litigation, including business torts and real estate litigation; government liability; constitutional law; and civil rights litigation. He has also represented clients in a variety of other areas, including, among others, defamation and invasion of privacy, legal malpractice, insurance coverage and defense, and wrongful death.

Before joining Lydecker, while completing his legal studies, Joan Carlos served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Raoul G.
Cantero, III, former Justice of the Florida Supreme Court, and as a judicial extern to The Honorable Leon M. Firtel, Circuit Court
Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
