Professional Experience
Ms. Prause counsels clients on trademark matters in the United States and
abroad. She advises clients regarding trademark selection and protection.
Her practice includes trademark portfolio management, including prosecution
of applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, as well as under the Madrid Protocol and in the European Community, trademark policing, opposition and cancellation proceedings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and trademark and copyright litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Prause also counsels clients in regard to a full range of issues related to internet technology, including trade name, trademark, and domain name rights, as well as trademark and copyright infringement matters arising online. Prior to joining the firm’s intellectual property department, Ms Prause practiced commercial litigation in cases involving breach of contract, fraud, and general business disputes.
Bar Admissions
Ms. Prause is admitted to practice in all Courts in the State of Florida, before the United States District Court for the Middle
District of Florida, and in all Courts in the State of California. Ms. Prause has served as a member of the American Bar
Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association.
