Professional Experience
Located in the Miami office, Ms. Joseph practices in the areas of Employment Law, Complex Commercial Litigation, and Appellate Advocacy.
Her practice focuses on litigating labor and employment claims, as well as working with management and human resources to develop and implement
effective employment policies, practices, and procedures. She represents public and private employers in federal and state courts, in mediations
and arbitrations, and before administrative agencies, governmental review boards and councils. Ms. Joseph handles alleged violations based on race,
age, national origin, gender, and other protected status, as well as retaliation, harassment, hostile work environment, and whistleblower claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Joseph served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Eugene Hamilton, former Chief Judge of the Superior Court
of the District of Columbia; a Civil Rights Litigation Consultant for a small nonprofit; as an Associate with two boutique law firms specializing in
employment discrimination class actions and business litigation; and as the owner of her own law firm. While pursuing her legal studies at Georgetown
University Law Center, Ms. Joseph externed at the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, interned with the Lawyers’ Committee for
Civil Rights Under the Law, and served as a Student Attorney in federal immigration court. During the summers, Ms. Joseph volunteered with the
Refugee Law Project in Uganda, with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Egypt, and served as the Frankel Fellow for Human Rights First.
