Professional Experience
Alan Feldman is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Feldman practices general civil litigation with an emphasis in complex commercial litigation. His practice areas include appellate advocacy, cases involving alleged unfair business practices and unfair competition, class action defense, RICO defense, trade secret misappropriation, hospitality and public accommodations law, contract interpretation and drafting, corporate separation/severance agreements, due diligence of a major hotel chain’s acquisitions, insurance insolvency, construction litigation, labor and employment law, Americans with Disabilities Act, civil rights law, administrative law, education law, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, contract disputes, professional malpractice, and general litigation. Mr. Feldman has also been responsible for local government employee investigations to ensure compliance with governmental agencies, and has extensive experience managing large health care and administrative audits for public and private institutions.

Mr. Feldman also has been appointed to the Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee (CPLC). The scope and function of the Consumer Protection Law Committee focuses on the study of Florida’s consumer protection laws and the education of consumers and bar members alike regarding current and developing consumer laws. The CPLC may take steps to accomplish these goals through public outreach, CLE and nonpartisan technical assistance memoranda submitted to aid the legislative process.
