Professional Experience
Diana Beaz is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Ms. Beaz was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, premises liability, and contract litigation. She also has experience in other areas of law including real estate law, professional malpractice, residential and commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and real property litigation and transactions.

Before law school, Ms. Beaz worked in a real estate law firm that provided title and closing services for both residential and commercial transactions. During her time there, she conducted real estate closings, drafted closing statements, managed the policy department, and assisted in the management of the processing and post-closing departments.

While in law school, she served her student body as Vice President of Trial on the Board of Advocates Executive Board. Ms. Beaz also competed as a member of both the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams, earning recognition as a Semi-Finalist in the FIU COL Intramural Moot Court Competition; a Quarter-Finalist and award for Best Runner-Up Brief in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition; an Octofinalist in the Wechsler Moot Court Competition; and fifth place in the AAJ National Mock Trial Competition in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2010 she was also selected to receive both the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Scholarship and the American Board of Trial Advocates Scholarship.

Throughout her second and third year of law school, Ms. Beaz worked as a law clerk with a solo practitioner, then becoming an Associate upon her admission to the Florida Bar. As such, she handled various civil litigation cases through the trial stage in the areas of personal injury, commercial disputes, professional liability, administrative proceedings, real estate, family law, and general contract disputes.
