Professional Experience
Scott E. Klotzman is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. He has significant experience in defending property damage claims including, but not limited to, windstorm coverage disputes, broken pipe claims, theft claims, fire claims and fraud investigations.

Mr. Klotzman began his legal career at the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, where he worked closely with the Office of Adjudications and Chief Legal Counsel in dealing with various environmental issues affecting the State of Connecticut. In 2008, Scott relocated to Florida to practice First-Party Property litigation.

Educational Background
Scott earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont where he was a member of the Lawrence Debate Team. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law where he was a member of the Legal Clinic and assisted low-income families with child-custody, divorce proceedings and alimony disputes. As a student attorney, Scott successfully argued an appeal in Munroe v. Munroe, 87 Conn. App. 901 (2005), in front of the Connecticut Appellate Court. Scott also received the Pollina Family Scholarship for Scholastic Achievement.
